FUN FACTS

Plants and trees take in CO2 from the atmosphere to help growth. As CO2 levels increase from the burning of fossil fuels, volcano eruptions, and melting permafrost, plants and trees have been busy growing faster and larger. In fact this fun fact has lead to the re-greening of many non plant areas of the planet. NASA over the last decade has been measuring this effect from satellites in space taking pictures. article

So far, this re-greening has impacted an area twice the size of the continental United States with new plant and tree coverage. This will significantly slow down any climate changes as this new green area growth will absorb quite a lot of future CO2 emissions. This gives Nations more time to make and implement non CO2 energy changes.

Health Enigma with Technology

Human health and technology are linked in various medical protocols. Technology is improving health parameters with new surgical techniques, analytical devices, and revolutionary new medicines. The Apple watch can monitor health signs and alert medical teams as a crisis develops in real time.

But, there is another concept that is of concern which threatens to derail this new technology. Body metabolic processes, which can take decades to evolve, are getting stretched to the max in trying to deal with such rapid technological changes. The new Covid-19 vaccine is one extreme example. This vaccine concept has been under development for over 10 years. Most of that time, the developed products were unsuccessful and exhibited very serious side effects. The Scientists finally almost perfected the vaccine concept with limited side effects just in time. A final genetic modification appeared to solve one important issue but is probably the factor for generating myocarditis in healthy young men.

While new technology is saving lives, it is the old metabolic processes that are holding it back. Current dietary patterns weaken the body instead of improving. Nutritional theories are also out of date and not updating with new health science research. As a result, most people do not have a very strong immune system to effectively fight off viruses. This could be one of the reasons for the success of the Covid-19 vaccines. Healthy people are better able to fight off the viral attack, limit the severity of the infection, and recover from the disease.

to be continued.
