Vitamin Cautions Explained

Precautions exist for Folic Acid, Selenium, Calcium, Zinc, Beta Carotene, Vitamins A, B1, B6, B12, C, D, & E. Why there are so many DESIGN FLAWS in multi-vitamin formulas may be a mystery to some, but after discovering the new vitamin reality presented on this website, the mystery will disappear.

Have you heard this before?

New large study research found an association between higher vitamin B6 (>35mg) and B12 (>20 mcg) intakes with 50% increased risk of hip fractures. article The reason is unknown, but theories are offered! ref

FUN FACTS

Plants and trees take in CO2 from the atmosphere to help growth. As CO2 levels increase from the burning of fossil fuels, volcano eruptions, ocean water temperature changes, and melting permafrost, plants and trees have been busy growing faster and larger. In fact this fun fact has lead to the re-greening of many non plant areas of the planet. NASA over the last decade has been measuring this effect from satellites in space taking pictures. article

So far, this re-greening has impacted an area twice the size of the continental United States with new plant and tree coverage. This will significantly slow down any climate changes as this new green area growth will absorb quite a lot of future CO2 emissions. This gives Nations more time to make and implement non CO2 energy changes. article

The Sun is due to flip poles within a year. Have to wait and see what the effects will be from the increased release of electromagnetic energy coupled with this event. Were the Northern Lights showing up in lower altitudes recently a beginning? article

A New Vitamin Reality

New Vitamin Reality!

  • The goal of vitamin supplement usage should be to improve health.
  • But, vitamins can also be abused and jeopardise health.
  • Plus the majority if not all vitamins and formulas contain structural format and design errors.
  • How does the Public know if the vitamin supplement formulas they are consuming are the few beneficial ones or the multitude of those with numerous flaws that most likely adversely impact health?
  • Providing this answer through an explanation and analysis of Scientific Vitamin Research Studies is the function of this website. One such article
  • Lately, Vitamin Scientific Research is generating greater conflicts over vitamin benefits rather than solving lingering questions.

Results from some large vitamin studies are not showing benefits against major conditions like heart disease, cancers, and even dementiaarticle

  • These results are prompting some Health Professionals to question the value of taking vitamin supplements, claiming that since they do not prevent disease and some have adverse effects, they are at best a waste of money, and some may compromise health.
  • It is the premise of this website not to disagree with all the studies arriving at negative or nil findings, but rather to add perspective that many of these results may just be a natural consequence of faulty study details using improper vitamin forms and dosages. (example for vitamin E forms on Breast Cancer ref  Why is this info missing from mainline nutrition? See copy below for this abstract.**)
  • Obviously, there are others factors rather than faulty study details that are involved in vitamin study results, such as genetics, pre-existing conditions, diet, lifestyles, activity levels, environmental contamination, and non-compliance rates.
  • But, using correct study details with appropriate vitamin forms and dosages along with related family or synergistic nutrients GREATLY INCREASES THE POTENTIAL FOR BENEFICIAL RESULTSarticle
  • While Nutritional Scientists debate status of vitamin supplements, new research continues to discover amazing insights into vitamin functions and disease connections.

There is a well established reality that few people consume all the vitamins and minerals they need from food alone, despite vitamin B fortification of white flour and polished rice.

  • Deficiency percentages for potassium, magnesium, vitamin D, and E range from 47 to 95%ref
  • Sodium and omega 6 fatty acids are nutrients often in excess. article
  • Some elements like calcium, magnesium, and vitamin D levels in blood are regulated by body processes and excesses are stored in body, thus it is difficult to actually determine deficiency states.

New exciting research is updating the Vitamin Health arena, but for some reason, these new vitamin points are remaining parked on the sidelines and not catching on to improve vitamin recommendations and update supplement formulas.

  • These new discoveries are even able to scientifically reveal that the past adverse vitamin study results are simply due to faulty study criteria and flaws in vitamin theories. article
  • Using appropriate vitamin forms, at proper dosages, and together with synergistic related nutrients, INCREASES THE POTENTIAL FOR BENEFICIAL RESULTS. article
  • Finding this new healthy vitamin information is not the easy task one would imagine with the advanced level of science, technology, and the information highway available today.  article

Statement OF PURPOSE: The consuming Public deserves truthful vitamin information to make healthy supplement choices. This website simply presents opportunites to allow the Public to bypass the current outdated and flawed status quo vitamin information and go directly to the new updated version. One that offers improved health potential. These new facts are presented with scientific research links in support. You decide the merits and how or if to benefit from them.

  • This website presents, perhaps for the first time, a rational science supported explanation that appears to settle many controversial study findings and vitamin issues relating to forms, dosages, and related synergistic nutrients.
  • Adding another layer of support, this author studied dozens of nutrition and physiology university textbooks, plus spent over 10,000 hours analyzing thousands of scientific vitamin studies in PubMed on the web.
  • This depth of research uncovered truly insightful and novel vitamin concepts seldom mentioned in any orthodox channel. One such example > Brain Trust
  • This website also provides more "put to immediate use" practical vitamin supplement tips than other resources, and uses examples whenever possible to help clarify concepts for easy understanding.
  • "Believe half of what you see and nothing of what you hear" credit often given to Edgar Allen Poe (1845).  Where does that leave what you read ???

Why Now! Health challenges over the last few years highlighted the need to make health building a vital priority. Plus, the ability to share truthful information is fading faster than a jackrabbit can run (for the curious, that would be 40 mph).

Some of the Pertinent vitamin questions and controversies presented and answered in the 300 articles on this website:
  • Are vitamin supplements necessary and safe? article article
  • Are there side effects from vitamin supplement misuse?
  • Are there diseases with a vitamin link? article article
  • How do you know which supplements contain proper dosages and vitamin and mineral forms with related synergistic nutrients for optimal body health?
  • Are synthetic vitamins the same as natural food vitamins? article
  • Is there value in consuming extra vitamins? ref
  • Are US Government Health Agencies recommended dosages of vitamins and criteria sufficient for sound and safe supplement use? article
  • Since Science and technology scientists say together they will soon solve many disease conditions, can one just wait and take corrective treatments back to health later?

Chemopreventive activity of vitamin E in breast cancer: a focus on γ- and δ-tocopherol

Affiliations

Free PMC article

Abstract

Vitamin E consists of eight different variants: α-, β-, γ-, and δ-tocopherols (saturated phytyl tail) and α-, β-, γ-, and δ-tocotrienols (unsaturated phytyl tail). Cancer prevention studies with vitamin E have primarily utilized the variant α-tocopherol. To no avail, a majority of these studies focused on variant α-tocopherol with inconsistent results. However, γ-tocopherol, and more recently δ-tocopherol, have shown greater ability to reduce inflammation, cell proliferation, and tumor burden. Recent results have shown that γ-enriched mixed tocopherols inhibit the development of mammary hyperplasia and tumorigenesis in animal models. In this review, we discuss the possible differences between the variant forms, molecular targets, and cancer-preventive effects of tocopherols. We recommend that a γ-enriched mixture, γ- and δ-tocopherol, but not α-tocopherol, are promising agents for breast cancer prevention and warrant further investigation.

MEANING of this abstract: The US Government Health recommendations are failing to inform the Public about family forms of vitamin E that have breast cancer prevention properties. The US Health agencies only give alpha tocopherol vitamin E status and ignore the other family members of beta, delta, and gamma tocopherols as well as the same four tocotrienols, some of which have cholesterol lowering abilites and offer brain protection. pages pages
